Barcelona is renowned for its creative and innovative selection of bars. And just when you thought you’d seen everything, Kaktos Botanical Society comes along. But, how to define Kaktos? It’s a space where plants meet cocktails…but that still doesn’t do it justice.
Walking into the plant-filled space, you’ll find botanical themed books scattered around, a cocktail and snack bar, seating areas and, of course, a very cool music playlist. Yet, you can only gain access to this space through membership (which is free). It sounds very clandestine, but we promise, it’s not.
We recommend trying one of their plant inspired cocktails: curry-infused Gin, lemongrass, coconut and electric flower liqueur; or mustard-infused Vodka, thyme honey, and citrus. But drinks aren’t the only thing on offer. They organize events such as markets for buying and selling plants, cocktail courses, live music concerts, and even a plant hotel so that they can take care of your green friends while you’re away.
